New-look website

Date Posted: Wed, 12 Mar 2025
The choir went live with its new-look website on Monday 10 March. It's a work-in-progress and just one of several actions underway to help ensure the choir serves the Sunshine Coast community effectively.

Rehearsals are going strongly and new members are settling in well. Recruitment is a continuous process for us so if you're thinking of joining a choir, any time is a good time - but right now is best.

At the End of 2024

The Choir has had a great year! We found new members via the Buderim Mens Shed, and have been rehearsing steadily through the year. We held our anniversary concerts at Landsborough, Coolum, finishing at the Buderim War Memorial Hall, and wherever we performed we received a great reception! It has been great that the audiences liked us so much, and we are grateful for the ongoing support.
We ended our year with our usual attendance at the Buderim Private Hospital, which is so much fun and rewarded with all the smiles and appreciation of the staff and patients. It really is.
Anyway, that's it of this year! We hope to see you all next year, and bring your friends! And guys, think about joining us. Think you can't sing? Trust me, you can, and combined voices only grow in strength and power! And age is not a barrier - I'm the youngest member, and I'm 66!
Hope to see you soon!

Committee for 2025

Date Posted: Wed, 11 Dec 2024
Choir members are delighted to welcome Sunshine Coast Council Mayor, Rosanna Natoli, as the choir’s patron. We look forward to a close association with Mayor Natoli and to seeing her in the audience at our next concert.

We are planning on a big year in 2025, with a wide variety of songs and are looking to increase choir numbers to enable the choir to be more flexible.

The choir has elected a new committee for 2025 consisting of President – Barry Leigh, Vice-President - Steve Abrahamson, Secretary - Greg L’Estrange, Treasurer - John Johnson and committee members - Neville Cuthbert, Allan Herring and Noel Williams. The picture shows the new committee members with conductor, Stuart Hill.
